Our 2026/27 PD Day camps are set, and we’ve built out a full day of skateboarding at Foam Fighters for every non-instructional day on the Edmonton Public and Catholic calendars.
8:30am to 4:30 pm, $60 a day.
That’s a full day of fun and skateboarding, whether your kid has never stood on a board or already has tricks down. Our coaches meet them wherever they’re at.
Foam Fighters is Edmonton’s indoor skatepark. No cancellations because of snow or ice, just a full day of indoor skateboarding. That reliability matters more than people realize when you’re planning around a school calendar, and we don’t take it for granted. Foam Fighters has been generous with us, and this whole program only works because of that.

Which days are covered
Both Edmonton Public and Edmonton Catholic PD Days. If your school has one on the calendar, there’s a good chance we’ve got a camp for it. Homeschool families are welcome too.
Here are the dates on our radar for the 2026-27 school year:
- Wednesday, September 30, 2026 — National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
- Monday, October 19, 2026 — Professional Development (PD) Day
- Thursday, November 12, 2026 — Board approved non-instructional day
- Friday, November 13, 2026 — Board approved non-instructional day
- Monday, November 16, 2026 — Teachers day-in-lieu
- Thursday, February 25, 2027 — Teacher’s Convention
- Friday, February 26, 2027 — Teacher’s Convention
- Wednesday, March 10, 2027 — Board-approved non-instructional day
- Thursday, March 11, 2027 — Professional Development (PD) Day
- Friday, March 12, 2027 — Professional Development (PD) Day
- Monday, March 30 – Thursday, April 2, 2027 — Spring Break
Some of these fall back-to-back, like November 12-13 or March 11-12. Each of those days is its own camp booking, not a bundled multi-day package, so register for the specific day or days you need.
Registering
Registration opens mid-to-late August, alongside our fall lesson registration. Spots are limited, and PD Day camps tend to fill fast, especially early in the school year, so register as soon as dates go live. If you’re already thinking ahead to next summer, check out our summer camps for kids who want to skateboard too. We will be posting about our summer camps closer to November/December.
Also looking at ongoing lessons this fall? We’ve moved to an 8-week format at Foam Fighters, plus a new Accelerator program for self-driven skaters.
