We’re grateful to be partnering with the City of Spruce Grove this summer to bring free “Try It” skateboard sessions to the community at the Wheeled Sports Park in Central Park. Getting to introduce more kids and families to skateboarding, in a park built for it, is exactly the kind of community work Project Rad loves being part of.
Dates: Mondays, July 13, 20, 27, August 10 Time: 5-6 p.m. Location: Spruce Grove Wheeled Sports Park, Central Park Cost: Free, drop-in
Boards provided. Bring your own helmet. Waivers signed on-site (parent/guardian required for minors). A Q&A period for parents runs alongside the session — come with your questions.

Quick tips for first-timers
- Bend your knees
- Look where you’re going, not at your feet
- Start on flat ground before ramps

If your kid catches the bug, Project Rad also offers private and group lessons throughout the summer. Reach out, and we’ll help find a fit for your family.
Thanks to the City of Spruce Grove for making this happen, and thanks to everyone who comes out. We’ll see you at the park.
